Do I need a WORK PERMIT?

Yes - Regardless of which passport you hold, if you plan on working in Canada you WILL need a work permit.  CCUSA’s preferred Canadian immigration advisers will help you decide what the best work permit is for your camp.  In most all cases, you will prepare the documents via email and apply for the physical work permit at the border, upon entry into Canada.  The work permit will either be a temporary Employer Specific Work Permit or a 12-24 month open work permit. This will be dependent upon your age, occupation, nationality, whether you are placed as a Counselor or Support Staff member and whether you wish to go on to do further work in Canada after your camp placement has finished. Some nationalities will be required to complete an Embassy Medical check - please contact your local office for more details.

That's all there is to it! So we challenge you to start filling out the application form TODAY - your fantastic working adventure is waiting!
